How it works
Book a spot before you leave home.
Spots are listed by people and businesses near you: a home with an empty driveway, a housing society with spare visitor slots, an office lot that sits empty in the evening, a shop with a charger. You see the price for your exact time before you book.
DriversPark or charge
- Search where you're goingPick Park or Charge, choose how long you need, and filter by vehicle size, covered parking or connector.
- Book itSome spots confirm at once. Home hosts confirm within 15 minutes. You get a 4-digit code, directions and the gate notes.
- Park, charge, pay the hostCheck in when you arrive. When you leave, pay the host by UPI or cash. WIT adds nothing on top.
HostsList and earn
- Sign up as a Spots hostOpen the WIT Partner app and choose Spots host. Add an ID, an address or permission proof, and your UPI ID.
- List it from the spotStand at the spot so your phone's GPS confirms the location. Add photos, hours, prices and any charger details.
- Accept bookings, get paidSee who is coming and their number plate. Check drivers in with their code, and the money goes to your UPI ID.
For hosts
Your driveway, socket or charger can earn every day.
You choose when it's open and what it costs. Drivers pay you straight to your own UPI ID or in cash, so the money never waits with us.
In the Partner app, pick "Spots host" when you log in. New listings are checked by our team before they go live.
Scooters and autos
A plain 15A socket is a charger.
Most electric vehicles on Indian roads are scooters and autos, and they charge from an ordinary 15A wall socket in a few hours. If you have one near where people stop, you can list it.
Public chargers
Public stations show up on the same map.
When you switch to Charge, WIT Spots also shows public charging stations near you, with a different pin. You can check before you drive there instead of opening several operator apps.
For now you pay at public stations in the operator's app. Booking them through WIT Spots is planned for a later release.
Trust and safety
Built so both sides know who they're dealing with.
- Hosts are checkedEvery host sends an ID and proof of address or permission, and our team approves them before a listing goes live.
- Locations are realA listing can only be created by someone standing at the spot, confirmed by their phone's GPS.
- Addresses stay privateHome hosts show an approximate pin. The exact address and gate notes appear only after a booking is confirmed.
- Check in happens at the spotDrivers check in within 150 metres of the spot, and hosts can confirm them with a 4-digit code.
- Ratings go both waysDrivers rate spots and hosts rate drivers. Either side can report a problem or block the other.
- Everything is on recordBookings, check-ins, cancellations and payments are logged, so disputes can be checked against what happened.
